Privacy policy

This policy describes how NovaDeals, owned and operated by Novaris Enterprises LLC ("we", "us"), handles information when you use novarisdeals.com (the "Site").

What we collect

Browsing NovaDeals does not require an account, and we do not ask for your name or payment information.

• Email list. If you choose to leave your email address for our deal digest, we store that address and where on the Site you signed up. We use it only to send you NovaDeals content, we never sell or share the list, and every message we send will include a way to unsubscribe. To be removed at any time, email support@novarisdeals.com.
• Outbound click data. When you click through to a retailer, we record that a click happened on that deal, along with the referring page and a one-way hashed, truncated fingerprint of your browser's user-agent string. We use this to count clicks and understand which deals are useful. It is not used to build a profile of you.
• Server logs. Like nearly every website, our hosting provider keeps standard technical logs (such as IP address, request time, and page requested) for security and reliability.
• Staff accounts. Members of our team sign in with email and password to manage the Site. An authentication cookie applies only to staff who sign in; shoppers are never issued one.

What we do not do

• We do not sell or rent personal information.
• We do not run third-party advertising networks on the Site.
• We do not track your purchases. What you buy after leaving the Site is between you and the retailer.

Affiliate links and third parties

Outbound deal links lead to retailers and affiliate networks. Once you leave the Site, their privacy policies govern. Affiliate networks may use cookies or link parameters on their own domains to attribute purchases; we do not control those mechanisms.

Cookies

The Site sets cookies only for staff authentication. We do not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies for shoppers.

Data retention

Click records are kept as aggregate operating data. Standard server logs are retained on our hosting provider's normal schedule.

Children

The Site is a general-audience shopping site directed at adults in the United States and does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
